Genetic Counselling

The field of genetic counselling in India has enormously transformed over the past few years. From a handful of genetic counsellors, a decade ago, currently, the field has blossomed with almost about 100 trained and certified counsellors spread across the country. This growth was triggered and aided by growing awareness among clinicians, more affordable tests, increased availability, and a wider range of options.
